Gabriel Oth
Founder, Ngalmun Mabaegal
Gabriel Oth is a proud Torres Strait Islander with cultural ties to the Mualgal people of Wugalgau Village on Mua Island and Meriam Le of Murray Island. He was born and raised on the traditional lands of the Bindal and Wulgurukaba Peoples in Townsville, North Queensland.
Gabriel is the founder of Ngalmun Mabaegal, a social enterprise dedicated to creating spaces of joy, connection, and well-being within communities. Inspired by a strong cultural upbringing rooted in leadership, family values, and community development, Gabriel leads with a vision to empower people through culture, collaboration, and meaningful engagement.
His leadership is guided by the principles of cultural integrity, community-first thinking, empowerment, and the belief that joy plays a vital role in building healthy and thriving communities. Through his work, Gabriel aims to honour cultural heritage while helping communities grow stronger together.
